But a few weeks back I was able to hang out with a friend and we took a couple of pictures of my freshly completed girl! She was the first doll in my collection, and I have quite a few more since then, but they will have their own story to tell soon enough.
This doll was quite a killer to put together, hybrids are a LOT of hard work, with the amount of research, decision fatigue, and anxiety that goes it into it, but nothing is more satisfactory then seeing the body and head molding together into a single character, to me she is stunning and absolutely perfect!
The head is Unoa Zero Latea faceplate that is secondhand, but I recently ordered a couple of new plates from Unoa Alchemy (a USA Unoa Quluts dealer) during the recent Unoa Zero preorder. I'm still deciding where I should send them off for faceups, but that's for another day.
The body took almost a year to order and payoff, the wait was gruesome, but I don't think any other body could be so suited for the face, the height is so endearing and the sculpting is elegant and graceful, I prefer bodies with a bit more "meat" on the bones so I couldn't have been happier by the slightly chubby thighs and thick arms! The quality is also astounding, the resin feels creamy and smooth to the touch! KUDOS to Switch!!!
I have a little diorama set up for dollies to pose in, my friend and I had a blast playing around, taking pictures, and moving around the furniture and walls, and we even threw in my little Dollsbe Strawberry (I call it Charlie for now, gender still being processed) to mess around with!
Here's more pictures of a Wigless Charlie, my sister says he looks just a tiny bit horrifying, I tell her she has no vision xD
Another successful dolly party! I couldn't have asked for more! Though next time I think I'll introduce my largest boy, he still hasn't had a chance to shine!
